5 Mile Run

Last night I ran 5 miles and felt o.k. I ran a hilly course so my pace kept fluctuating, but I tried to push the pace just a little. I am trying to win this war over my body and show it who's boss. Weather was nice - I ran in the evening as the sun was going down and it was nice and cool.

I found a possible source of my fatigue. It might be that I'm overtraining. Here's a link to the Runner's World Article. But according to this, I should take at least 2 weeks of easy recovery. I can't afford that this close to the marathon. What to do?
